Constantly resettin

My 2005 c6 convertible with 50,000 miles constantly has to have the battery disconnected and reconnected to start,I was told by a friend that it is the alarm system.When driving and you honk the horn all odometer readings goes to zero and the a/c and radio turns off,have to turn off car and restarts and it goes back to normal.
