Computer behind radio on 1993 C4

I have a 93 C4 that I was told the computer behind the radio is bad, (not sure the name) the mechanic discontented the ABS & traction control so I didn't have the lights coming on, well, now my speedo/fuel/odometer all flicker/flash so I bought a new dash. The new dash didn't light up at all. I'd like to know how to get at this computer, is there a diagram or website I can go to for help. I have a manual for ref but that's kinda confusing.
Any help would be great.
