CEL under hard acceleration 2001 base coupe

Took the car to Roebilng Road and on the first lap had the CEL start flashing then the car went into limp mode. I changed the wires and plugs there. It did not help. Still underpowered but the light was off. Also the exhaust note was noticing different with a underwater gurgling sound. I have had 3 different shops look at it changing coil packs springs wires and plugs again and even a diagnosis of a spun main bearing. The OP and everything else is fine. Compression is good. any help would be greatly appreciated.
