I've read many threads for a solution but tried almost all myself:
-pulled and replaced #6 minifuse
-refaced left ground between DS headlamp and generator
-pulled and cleaned contacts in left side (1)and right side(2)wiring harnesses
-cycled hazard lights 3-4 times
-manually raised and lowered DS headlamp successfully
I have noticed no sound or spinning movement in DS gear wheel assembly or manual turn knob under rubber sleeve while feeling and seeing PS assembly gear wheel and manual knob spin properly to raise and lower that headlamp
Given this failure to spin in the DS assembly; I don't think its problem is a broken nylon gear.
What do you think should be my next move?
Established in 2008 by Chris Trautman, Corvette Web Central quickly grew into one of the top leading Corvette enthusiast websites globally.
"This website is a passion of mine, just as much as being a Corvette owner," says Chris. He was frustrated trying to find information on the internet about Corvettes which was was not biased or influenced somehow.
He has owned three Corvettes over the last twenty years and does not plan to stop owning one anytime soon.
