I bought this corvette and the hood never lined up. I got it checked by 2 auto body shops and the frame was bang on. I just purchased an oem hood and installed it. It fits better but i still had to shim both sides up. and the back near the windshield sits down to far but if i raise the hood it goes past the fenders. I had to shim it up as much as 3 washers per side. I can get the hood to fit the fenders without using the shims but then the headlights sit way to high and the front bumper as well. Can you adjust your headlights to move straight down. I got to move them at least a half inch down as well as the front clip. Also guys does your hood line up absolutely perfect in the back by the windshild.
Established in 2008 by Chris Trautman, Corvette Web Central quickly grew into one of the top leading Corvette enthusiast websites globally.
"This website is a passion of mine, just as much as being a Corvette owner," says Chris. He was frustrated trying to find information on the internet about Corvettes which was was not biased or influenced somehow.
He has owned three Corvettes over the last twenty years and does not plan to stop owning one anytime soon.
