C3 upper engine noise on deceleration

My 78 C3 has developed a tapping or clicking noise that appears to be coming from the right side upper part of the engine. Only happens during deceleration. Happens when in neutral or when driving. The noise goes away at idle. Only stated to notice the noise after recent oil change. Valvoline 10W30. Car has 8,200 miles on it
