alarm will not turn off

I have a 1984 corvette. I had someone break into my vette and it set the alarm off and now the alarm will not turn off and will not start can any one tell me how to disarm the alarm or reset it i have used the key in the drivers door did not work lights flash and will not start. from John can any one help please let me know i miss driving my vette.
