I have just put an aftermarket radio in my C3 and everything is running great including the repro auto antenna that moves up and down whenever you turn on the radio.
Sometimes I can turn on the ignition and the radio does not turn on at all unless I pull it back out and disconnect and reconnect the harness to the back of the radio.
When I do this, my presets are still in memory and everything works like normal until I turn the car off and on a few times and the radio does not work again.
I have all of the connections nice and tight, the radio is grounded to the frame of the car and everything appears to be connected properly, anyone have any idea of what could be going on?
Established in 2008 by Chris Trautman, Corvette Web Central quickly grew into one of the top leading Corvette enthusiast websites globally.
"This website is a passion of mine, just as much as being a Corvette owner," says Chris. He was frustrated trying to find information on the internet about Corvettes which was was not biased or influenced somehow.
He has owned three Corvettes over the last twenty years and does not plan to stop owning one anytime soon.
