Adjusting the swing on wipers for a C4 85 Vette

My driver side post is stripped, I`ve drilled it and put a double set screw to keep the wiper in line, But both wipers seem to be out of alignment,I have the owners manuel, & I think there is a limited description of how this is done. But I would like any suggestions by anyone who has actually done a wiper swing adjustment .
