Active Handling warming up light stays on when I clear the DIC

After driving a few minutes on my DIC a message shows up that my active handling is warming up. I can clear the message but the traction light will not clear. Stays on. Just had my rack and pinion changed due to a leak, not sure if this has anything to do with that. This by the way is a 99 corvette.
