I have a 91 corvette that I picked up. When I first got the car I got a no crank no start.
Bypassed vats, replaces battery, starter, altenator, and smog pump.
Car cranked but still no start.
Next I replaced ecm. I now have the injectors pulsing with a Noid test light.
Then no pressure to fuel rail, so replaced fuel pump, fuel sending unit, and fuel filter. Now have 48psi that doesn’t drain when car is turned to the on position.
Next I assumed it was the oil pressure switch, so I replaced both of them.
The car still won’t start!!!
The car will start, and stay on only when straying starting fluid to the intake. As soon as I stop straying fluid the car shuts off. What’s next to look at?
Established in 2008 by Chris Trautman, Corvette Web Central quickly grew into one of the top leading Corvette enthusiast websites globally.
"This website is a passion of mine, just as much as being a Corvette owner," says Chris. He was frustrated trying to find information on the internet about Corvettes which was was not biased or influenced somehow.
He has owned three Corvettes over the last twenty years and does not plan to stop owning one anytime soon.
