2005 HUD is projecting a blank screen (green box)

I have read many stories of c6 projector mirrors falling down. Mine has not. I can see the projection in the correct place on the windshield, but there is no readouts, just a blank green square. I took apart the gauge cluster and checked the wiring connections. I also don't think it's a fuse because like I said it is still projecting, just no speed, tach, or any other info. This happened all of a sudden too. It was working, I stopped to eat dinner came back out, and when I restarted it, it was blank.

I have a green square on my Hud ..it moves up and down..but nothing but thr box..it dims and gets little brighter.. anyone know?
