When I drive the car for a long period of time (>1 hour) at interstate speeds in hot weather (>90) and shut it off the car will not restart until it cools off. The engine cranks but does not fire. After the car has sat for a while and cools off it starts up just fine. I have replaced the oxygen sensor, plugs and wires yet the problem still persists. I can drive around town all day long without any issues but once I try to take a long trip on the interstate the problem resurfaces.
Established in 2008 by Chris Trautman, Corvette Web Central quickly grew into one of the top leading Corvette enthusiast websites globally.
"This website is a passion of mine, just as much as being a Corvette owner," says Chris. He was frustrated trying to find information on the internet about Corvettes which was was not biased or influenced somehow.
He has owned three Corvettes over the last twenty years and does not plan to stop owning one anytime soon.
