I have most of the bolts out of the upper oil pan. I need to drop the sub frame, and I'm having trouble dropping the sub frame down for clearance to get the oil pan out. I took out the bolts that hold the rack and pinion, and of coarse loosened the 4 nuts that hold the sub frame. Also the lower motor mount nuts. I am working on a lift, so I'm not on the ground. The sub frame moves when I pry on it, but it's not dropping down. What am I doing wrong? Any tips would be appreciated.

"This website is a passion of mine, just as much as being a Corvette owner," says Chris. He was frustrated trying to find information on the internet about Corvettes which was was not biased or influenced somehow.
He has owned three Corvettes over the last twenty years and does not plan to stop owning one anytime soon.
