1998 C5 stalls causing total power failure

1998 C5- was driving 45 mph when car stalled (just before stall heard 3-5 second buzzing sound coming from center area between shifter and radio) causing total power failure including steering.. “low voltage” was on display but I had just put in new battery and my (original) reconditioned alternator. After stall I attempted to restart. The Interior lights and gauges worked fine and engine was turning but wouldn’t start. Ran scanner but No Codes Detected came up.
