I have a 1996 Corvette with the LT-4 engine, 89,000 miles, very well cared for and garaged, runs great, never any problems EXCEPT on very hot and humid days. If I shut the car off with a hot engine and try to start it again in 5 minutes, no problem. But if I shut it off when the engine is hot and it is very hot and humid outside the engine starts very rough or not at all when outside temps over 100. Feels and sounds like only 5 or 6 pistons firing, then over the next minute or two the engine smooths out and runs fine. If I let the engine cool longer she starts up no problem, never stalls, runs like a bat out of you know where.

Established in 2008 by Chris Trautman, Corvette Web Central quickly grew into one of the top leading Corvette enthusiast websites globally.
"This website is a passion of mine, just as much as being a Corvette owner," says Chris. He was frustrated trying to find information on the internet about Corvettes which was was not biased or influenced somehow.
He has owned three Corvettes over the last twenty years and does not plan to stop owning one anytime soon.
