1994 Climate Control System

When I turn the ignition on or start the car all of the climate control functions are working. After about 2 minutes the buttons stop responding and the blower motor speed goes to its lowest setting. The indicator lights for the function that was active remain lit and whatever function such as AC continue to operate. The outside air temperature display remains working and changes with outside temperature. I have removed the controller and cleaned all of the contacts with no improvement in function.Manual or Automatic selection does not matter.
