1984 corvette

the hood on my 1984 corvette does not line up well with the front bumper on the passenger side the car has never been wrecked and the hood opens and closes just fine was this a factory mistake or is it something i can fix and how would i go about fixing it and i have seen other 84 models with the exact same problem.

hood problem

I have an 84 corvette and my hood when closed doesnt seem to line up with the front bumper on the passenger side with the hinge. the hood opens and closes fine but when closed it sticks up or back a little its not really noticeable expect when you are right up on it. A friend of mine had an 84 and his hood did the same thing. I dont know what is causing this problem the car has never been wrecked is there any way to fix this problem? i dont have a camera at the moment to take a pic of it.
