My 1970 corvette (350)is running hot by the water temp gauge. I parked it in my garage, shut it off, opened the hood and it was gurgling pretty good and then within a minute or so began piss out of the expansion tank hose and bubble out of the tank lid. The engine was completely rebuilt several years ago. About six months ago my heater core began leaking so instead of repairing it (I live in Fl and the car does not have AC and I don't need heat), I bypassed it. not sure if this could be a problem. I'm thinking possibly thermostat. Radiator is new.
Established in 2008 by Chris Trautman, Corvette Web Central quickly grew into one of the top leading Corvette enthusiast websites globally.
"This website is a passion of mine, just as much as being a Corvette owner," says Chris. He was frustrated trying to find information on the internet about Corvettes which was was not biased or influenced somehow.
He has owned three Corvettes over the last twenty years and does not plan to stop owning one anytime soon.
