1962 corvette clock stopped working

I have a 1962 corvette and I had the clock rebuilt about 10 years ago. Last year it stopped working. I pulled it out of the car and ran wires directly from the clock to the battery. Still did not work. Anyone have an idea of what might be the cause of it not working?
