'04 C5 Z06 CRUSE CONTROL WON'T SET TO SPEED IN UPPER GEARS, 4TH, 5TH & 6TH, BUT WILL SET IN LOWER GEARS, 2ND & 3RD.

IN MY '04 Z06, I CAN SET THE CRUSE CONTROL AT DESIRED SPEED IN 2ND AND 3RD GEAR BUT NOT IN 4TH, 5TH OR 6TH GEAR. I HAVE 62,800 MILES ON THE CAR. I TRIED LIFTING UP ON BRAKE PEDEL AND CLUTCH PEDEL WHILE DRIVING, THAT DIDN'T WORK. CAR HAS NEVER BEEN WRECKED, DRIVES AND HANDLES GREAT, OTHER THAN CRUSE CONTROL NOT WORKING FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS NOW. I KNOW THERE ARE MANY SENSER'S CONNECTED TO THE CRUSE CONTROL SYSTEM. BRAKE, CLUTCH, STEERING AND BCM TO NAME A FEW. HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE AND KNOWS WHERE TO LOOK FOR THE FIX? LIKE I SAID, I CAN SET THE CRUSE IN SOME LOWER GEARS BUT NOT THE UPPER GEARS. STUMPED!! THANK YOU, FOR REAL HELP WITH THIS PROBLEM.
