01 sport seat side airbags

The passenger side sport seat side airbag is inflated
(pinched in at hips) but will not release. I replaced the seat control so I know it is good. The inflate switch works and I can here the motor. When I move the switch to deflate I get nothing, no motor noise no air release NOTHING any ideas
